Are you a Broadcast Journalist who has a passion for local news? Then this is the job for you!

I'm looking for an experienced full time Broadcast Journalist to join my news team here in the North East.

You'll need to be able to create original local news stories which appeal to our target audience.

There is a lot of flexibility in this role which will see you being on desk, writing and reading bulletins to being out and about reporting across County Durham, Darlington and Northallerton.

Star Radio North East is part of the UKRD group, which is committed to providing local news to its listeners and we're looking for someone who also have that passion and commitment.

We're looking for a Broadcast Journalist who is full of ideas and can bring them to life, as well as enjoying the thrills of being first on the scene and getting to the real story.

But, you must also have a great voice and keen to let your talents shine as well as being legally sound.
