Business Development Manager (part-time) Salary: £14,400. Fixed-term contract (for one year) Closing Date: Friday 13th March Pulse 98.4 Community Radio has been broadcasting full-time in East Renfrewshire since July 2009. We are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager on a part-time basis (20 hours per week) on a fixed-term contract for one year.
The successful candidate will build effective and sustainable links with the local business community and will work alongside the Pulse Steering Group in managing multiple funding applications. S/he will manage all advertising and sponsorship contracts and will work with existing (and identify new) stakeholders through consensus and leadership. S/he will undertake specific operational, strategic and communications duties as laid out by the Board of Directors. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and an active interest in, and experience of, community broadcasting. S/he will have experience of negotiating advertising and sponsorship deals and a proven ability to network with a variety of organisations. S/he will also have flexibility with regard to working hours.
