What’s it all about…

Creatives at Global are our ‘go to’ people when we need to come up with ideas for our clients. Whether they need a fresh view on their brand, a new radio message or just a cool strapline, our Creative Account Managers take care of it.

What you’ll be doing…

Obsessively inventive, you’ll always be thinking about new ideas to promote and bring your clients’ brands and products to life through radio. So that might be shouted aloud by Sir Ian McKellan or whispered gently last thing at night by a sleepy Dervla Kirwan, but whatever it is you’ll have the idea that best suits the client.

It might be focusing on your own clients or, when we have a big brief, you’ll work together with the sponsorship and promotions and sales support teams to create the perfect pitch.

You’ll work with a busy sales team and you’ll need to do whatever it takes to convince them to let you get in front of the clients and show off your ideas so that they fall in love with radio.

Our Commercial Producers will create the final ad, so you’ll need to work closely with them to make sure they bring your ideas to life.

Oh, and you’ll also have a revenue target to achieve as part of your team.

Can you tick all of these boxes?

  • Incredibly inventive and creative and able to come up with great ideas
  • Good at writing, so you might have done a creative writing or a humanities degree or have experience in PR
  • Knowing what works and what doesn’t on radio
  • Self-confident enough to be able to sell your ideas, but not cocky!
  • Have a “thick skin” and be happy to listen, take criticism and compromise too
  • Brilliant at communication so that you clearly explain your ideas
  • Brilliant organisation skills so you hit every deadline every time and keep all the plates spinning.
  • Obsessive about the detail
  • A great number cruncher, from forecasting your sales to counting your revenue
