Spirit FM is looking for freelance journalists to join its talented pool of staff.

You'll be joining a well-resourced news team producing bulletins on-air and online at the number one commercial radio station in West Sussex, based at our studios in Chichester.

Just under half of people who live in our area tune into us every week - and our news output is a big part of that.

You may find yourself on-air or out on the road. So, you'll need a full driving licence and be able to produce snappy and memorable news stories.

You may also be required to work weekend shifts.

We’re looking for someone who can work independently and make decisions on their own, but also someone who is comfortable working as part of a team.

A sound legal knowledge and a great voice is a must, and you will also need to show how you would produce engaging digital content to our audiences online and social media.
