Eagle Radio is looking for freelance journalists to join the news pool.

As Surrey and North East Hampshire’s most listened to commercial radio station, we operate in a busy market place, competing with all of the London stations – and beating them!

We are looking for journalists who can hit the ground running and help us maintain our place as the market leader.

You will be happy running the news desk on your own, making editorial decisions and keeping our listeners engaged.

You already work to tight deadlines, have a great on-air personality and possess a real creative streak, not to mention that your legal knowledge is second to none.

You will be as comfortable writing for on air as you are handling our digital offering.

Eagle Radio is part of UKRD, which has a strong company culture and we pride ourselves on being fun, fair, open, honest, professional and unconventional in everything we do.

We are mainly able to offer weekend shifts, which means having use of a car is desirable.
