Your Mission

SPD Account Directors are an integral part of our Creative Partnership Team, putting creativity at the heart of our business for our customers and audiences. You will work with the sales and CPT teams to deliver the best sponsorship, promotions, experiential, design and digital opportunities, growing SPD revenues year on year, and ensure we do ideas, relationships and results better than anyone else in the industry.

Your role

You will grow and develop existing and new clients through our multi layered concept development approach. Exceptional knowledge of our products including, sponsorships, promotions, digital, design and experiential will engage and excite our clients enabling us to deliver their targets as well as our own. You will often need to work to tight deadlines, sometimes under pressure, and manage the detailed implementation of campaigns. You’ll devise innovative and creative solutions and produce high quality, engaging presentations to present to our clients. You will contribute to Group Level project work and provide input on SPD policies and practices, always leading by example within the CPT team. You will be the main point of contact and support for the Group Head of SPD, discuss key decisions and mentor new SPD starters You will be fantastic at forward planning to maximise revenue opportunities around key dates and events across the year You will work closely with programming teams to create commercially successful activity which help to increase our audience

Your Experience

You will need to be smart, bold and engaging and be able to display our company values in the work you do; Bravery, Integrity and Passion. You should be as passionate about working in radio as we are and be experienced and skilled in all areas of SPD sales. Equivalent to sales manager level, you’ll have brilliant organisation skills, be tech savvy and a creative thinker. You should be a confident networker and great at spotting opportunities with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients. You will provide support to the Sales Team, CPT Team and Commercial Director and contribute to sales strategies for the Station, Brand and Communicorp Group.

Your Package

Monday to Friday 0900 – 1730 Salary is based on experience plus commission (lots of it if you’re good) 25 days holiday, mobile phone & company car. Your Location

You will be based at Heart Yorkshire in Leeds.

Your Team

You will report to the Commercial Director.
