This job is not paid

Radio Brockley is the longest-running hospital radio station in London.

The Station is currently seeking volunteer presenters to join our dedicated and fun team. Volunteers are encouraged to join us for ward visits, where we meet patients and play their song requests on air.

We are also keen to produce new shows with prospective members - music and speech programmes will all be considered.

The station has a strong record at the annual HBA Awards (Station of the Year 2017 (Silver), Station of the Year 2016 (Gold), Station of the Year 2015 (Silver), Station of the Year 2014 (Bronze).

This position is an ideal role for students and young people seeking to build experience in radio or media. Radio Brockley also appeals to radio professionals who want to explore different roles within a station or share their expertise with others in a relaxed environment.

Radio Brockley is based at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore (London Borough of Harrow) and is most easily accessed via car. You can also take a bus from Stanmore Station (615) and Edgware Station (107) that drop you off just outside the hospital.

Radio Brockley is a registered charity.

This job closed on 19 June, 2017 so we’re afraid you can no longer apply for this role.
