We love St Albans and Harpenden, and we love serving our area by producing an entertaining, locally-relevant radio service for our listeners.

We are the community radio station for St Albans.

As a producer you’re responsible for making a show with entertainment and information for our community. Programmes could be general daytime ‘magazine’-style music shows or ‘specialist’ programmes that deal with a particular areas of interest, such as sport, parenting, business or the environment.

It’s your job to research and prepare material for the show, come up with interesting ideas for features before creating a running order for the programme. Then, you’ll work with a presenter at the time of broadcast to make your show come alive! This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your passion and interest for our community life to the foreground.

You’ll also have an understanding of social media, so that the material you have prepared for broadcast reaches our listeners through channels like twitter and facebook.
