Radio Scheduler and station assistant We are looking for an experienced radio scheduler to work as part of our editorial and production team. You will be responsible for scheduling content on our radio station in line with scheduling timescales and for ensuring schedules meet all of the requirements of transmission and is fit for broadcast. The successful candidate will be flexible and will need to cover a range broadcast duties and to source features for a range of shows and produce rotas for the radio station staff.

Who are we looking for? You will have the following skills and experience

• Experience of scheduling a radio channel: Preferably one with a good mix of talk, discussion and music
• Evidence of the ability to manage a large volume of complex and detailed information in a highly process oriented environment.
• Good understanding of Ofcom and an ability to make sound editorial decision
• Evidence of strong interest in radio along with excellent IT skills
• An ability to use DJ Pro, Digiware and Listbox software would be useful
• Able to work flexible working hours.
• Take a proactive approach to work and be comfortable with a dynamic environment with constantly changing priorities.
