Wanted! Enthusiastic Administration Assistant for the Wonderful World of Film PR!

Cameo Productions is an established London-based broadcasting consultancy and audio production house, specialising in radio campaigns for new entertainment releases. We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual, eager to make a start in media PR and with a keen interest in the movies, radio and digital media.

Our clients are the major movie studios, film distribution and entertainment companies. Cameo’s audio press kits, based around our interviews with the world's biggest stars and directors, provide UK and Irish radio stations with everything they need to cover the latest releases and secure our clients great exposure. From our in-house recording studio we conduct ISDN interview sessions to stations anywhere in the world for clients in the entertainment industry and in general public relations.

You’ll be our Team Assistant, responsible for compiling campaign reports, sourcing radio station recording of transmissions (ROTs), tabulating data, organising office supplies and dispatch of our material, answering phones, organising refreshments for studio guests and staff, assisting our Publicists and Producers in areas such as press release writing, helping to secure merchandise competitions with radio stations and inviting presenters and producers to preview screenings. A flexible approach to working hours is required as you'll be expected to attend some preview film screenings in the evenings. You may also be required to work the occasional weekend or bank holiday at an industry event. Education to at least A-level standard or equivalent is required and strong communication skills are paramount. Our work is heavily reliant on computers so you’ll need to be internet savvy and we'll need you to prove you know your way around Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook. Audio editing software knowledge would be useful. Previous radio, film or PR experience would be beneficial but not necessarily essential. This is an initial six-month contract.

This job closed on 2 February, 2015 so we’re afraid you can no longer apply for this role.
