BBC Technology Operations is the broadcast technology partner for BBC programme teams. Within this department, Technology Support provides a 24x7 service to various departments and programmes at BBC sites across the world. At BBC North we mainly support TV, Radio & Online for News, Sport, Childrens & Entertainment - amongst others.
A Frontline Broadcast Engineer could start the day ensuring the 6 Music studio is ready for air, go on to fix an issue in the CBBC gallery and then install the playout technology for Match of the Day. It’s a varied and exciting job with opportunities to develop.
