London Live seeks to reduce local programming

Ofcom has today published a statutory Notice asking for representations from interested parties on changes to the local TV licence for London.

This follows a request from ESTV Ltd – the provider of the London local television service London Live – to vary the programming commitments in its local television licence.

The requested changes would include reductions to the hours of local content and changes to the types of programming provided.

Responses to the Notice must be sent to Ofcom by 10:00am on Tuesday 26 August. The Notice can be found on Ofcom’s website.
