YOU:

  • are an energetic, intelligent and assertive recent graduate or junior journalist capable of producing explosive headlines and riveting leads as you write across industries, continents and formats
  • can efficiently produce enticing, intelligent daily news content, spiced up with wit, wordplay and whatever else you can muster
  • have huge amounts of drive and vigour, and are looking to kickstart or boost your media career
  • offer a very strong tertiary academic background (in any discipline), polished English skills, a can-do attitude and a super-sensitive nose for a story

The position involves:

  • working across products and teams in our Sydney or Auckland office
  • writing high-quality, insightful and thoroughly researched news, analysis and features for both print and online
  • getting out there and meeting key industry players
  • working closely with management to build online traffic, develop existing and new products and explore new markets
