This important role will lead the small team responsible for the implementation of the Publishing (written word) ministry of UCB in line with the charity’s Strategic Plan.

The successful candidate must have a sound knowledge and understanding of Biblical doctrine and be able to demonstrate project management and administration skills in order to implement and maintain an on-going programme of publication activities to schedule and within budget, as well as helping extend circulation and readership.

The successful candidate will have the ability to lead other staff; working with initiative, imagination and creative flair. As the existing team is already established we need someone with good interpersonal skills who will be an effective team player. We are looking for someone with strong written and verbal communication skills, who has an eye for detail and a high standard of accuracy; someone who can demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills, who will thrive on the challenge of prioritising diverse and busy print and digital schedules and have the discipline required to meet tight deadlines.

The position is based at our Hanchurch site, within the Stoke on Trent area.

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
