The successful candidate will:

  • Write for the magazine, website and social media
  • Produce clear, thorough, accurate copy.
  • Write in-style and in-depth on a range of topics including history, heritage, the British countryside and craftspeople.
  • Adapt content for use online and in social media while staying true to the brand values.
  • Research ideas across a broad range of countryside topics.
  • Grow a bulging contacts book of producers, makers and craftspeople.
  • Always have one eye on book launches, craft events and social media to find new contacts and ideas.
  • Make forward planning a priority.
  • Be a creative and efficient team player
  • Be organised and self-motivated.
  • Have a creative and enquiring mind.
  • Own certain sections of the magazine, website and social media.
  • Relish being part of a highly creative team in an industry-leading media company.
