International Business Times UK achieved over 21 million unique visitors (UVs) in August, driven by a best-ever 27% increase in monthly traffic. The global news platform, based in London’s Canary Wharf, saw its traffic increase by five million UVs month-on-month, successfully building on the 16 million + UVs it scored in July. IBTimes.co.uk has seen its readership grow by nearly 70% over the past 12 months. Furthermore, August figures showed that 36 million page views were served - another record-breaking figure.

George Pitcher, Editor-in-Chief of International Business Times UK, said: “This is an awesome performance – and I’m not thrilled easily. I don’t know what our newsroom does to the competition, but they terrify me. This is down to building one of the most talented and fresh teams in global digital news, a growing recognition of our editorial worth in the world market and a creative technology team that makes our content travel at warp speed. We’re on our way.”
