Rob Persani

Rob started presenting on Radio Cracker in 1991 and 1992, went to Farnborough College for an HND in Media Production with Business and got involved with Wey Valley Radio whilst in Hampshire where he also got involved in news reading and reporting. He then came back to the Midlands and joined Signal Radio and freelanced for The Wolf, whilst spending 2 years or so anchoring traffic reports for Midlands stations with Metro Networks (now INRIX). Rob was the launch voice of Rutland Radio in December 1998 and remained there until a rebrand to Greatest Hits Radio in September 2020. Rob is now Project Manager at Rutland County Council looking into the feasibility and sustainability of a new community focused radio station for the Rutland and Stamford area.
