I'm very pleased to announce that my new programme 'Saturday Night Out' with the tag line: 'Extended Mixes of Your Favourite Music' will be starting with a New Years Eve special from 10 'til midnight then launching in it's regular weekly slot on Saturday the 2nd of January 2016 at 6:00pm 'til 8:00pm on the internet radio station FAB FM - http://www.radiofabfm.com the versions of the music I will be playing on this programme are completely unique and cannot be heard anywhere else in the World!

For the many unfamiliar with my old show on Mercia FM 'The Mercia Mix' and those people of a 'certain' age you may remember in the good ol' days of the 12” singles and also cd singles where differing tracks of the 'main title' track were included on the 'B' side of said record, so for example there would possibly be an instrumental or dub version. I edited these 'alternative' mixes together with the main version resulting in unique extended version.

The title 'Saturday Night Out' is a nod to a dance genre show originally with the same title which was broadcast in the early years (1980) on Coventry's Mercia Sound, however unlike the original my new show is non-presenter led, it's non-stop music, covering the early decades from 1970's up to the more recent times.

My original show 'The Mercia Mix' was broadcast on Mercia FM in the early 1990’s and ran for over two and a half years and proved to very successful so I'm hoping to replicate some of that success on FAB FM, but to do that I need the support of those around me by 'spreading the word' as much as possible, there's so much competition now-a-days so the more people I can reach the better, nearer the time I'll be sending out an email and there are other avenues Ill be pursuing to reach as many people as possible.

I'm sure you can pay for advertising on this site you know Kevin. It's not much of a discussion after all.

Hi Mike

It's a bit difficult to have a discussion with yourself but now you've started it off maybe you can give me some feedback.
