First Radio Sales represents 118 radio stations across the UK, with nearly 5m listeners each week.

The Account Planner will work alongside Account Managers and is responsible for managing agency briefs and bookings, primarily for airtime and digital, across a portfolio of media agencies; you will be the eyes and ears of the business, and play a crucial role in maintaining and developing our agency relationships.

You will be helping to maximise revenue across your agency portfolio, and so an understanding of great customer service and sales ability is a must, whilst an attention to detail is also a prerequisite. A key purpose of the role is to deliver unrivalled customer service through the efficient turnaround of briefs whilst using insight and knowledge to provide the best solutions, together with a proactive, ‘can do’ approach. You will provide support across the First Radio office, giving you broad exposure to the whole business.

This is an entry level role, but previous sales, administrative and customer service experience, as well as a passion for media and radio is an advantage. Strong communication, organisation and numeracy skills as well as a proactive mindset, team-led mentality and hunger to develop and grow are essential in this busy sales environment.

There is a package of basic salary plus bonus scheme for the right candidate.
