Rarely available opportunity for a Advertising Field Sales Executive to join a leading Outdoor media company at the forefront of their sector
The Client Our client is an award winning and market leading media organisation with a unique and expanding portfolio of digital, ambient and broadcast products using state of the art technology. They provide innovative business to consumer advertising tools that are a favourite with Agencies, Blue Chips and the Public sector clients throughout the UK. They already have an enviable client list that includes some of the world’s largest brand names. Their clients cover areas including leisure, lifestyle, fashion, leisure, shopping, entertainment, education, property and accommodation and business and careers. Following a number of industry acclaimed contract wins they are growing across the country and are now looking for Advertising Field Sales Executive to cover Edinburgh, Fife, Dundee, East of Scotland and Newcastle.
The Role You will be responsible for the management of a range of existing accounts and development of new business customers for a unique range of premier positioned outdoor advertising and digital screens. You will be selling the full portfolio of their UK network to customers throughout the territory. As a field based Account Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Retaining and identifying potential new clients to advertise across clients portfolio
- Prospecting and self-generating new business appointments with prospect customers
- Identifying advertiser needs during consultative fact-finding face-to-face meetings
- Building tailored campaigns and presenting face-to-face to clients
- Gaining the maximum possible yield from the local / regional adverting market for each advertising campaign sold
- Building account plans to ensure continual year of year growth of newly won clients.
You will have the support and back up of strong case studies, presentation tools, metrics and marketing information to ensure sales success. You will be responsible for demonstrating the power of their advertising formats and solutions, pitching the features, benefits and effectiveness of their media solutions. You will be working closely with clients and your team to ensure customer satisfaction, developing client relationships to create strong business partnerships which deliver effective results for advertisers.
To apply you will have a demonstrable track record of success selling advertising (i.e. radio, newspapers, magazines, television, digital, etc). solutions to customers with the desire to work for an expanding organisation on a cutting edge premier portfolio.
We are not looking for average performers for this role. To apply for this role you will be need to be at the top of your game and be able to demonstrate a track record of over achieving your targets and out performing your colleagues. You will be looking to join a leading media player that are expanding with an innovative range of media products.
You will have a strong understanding of the media and marketing departments, coupled with the drive, motivation and passion to develop new business in a competitive market. You will have strong communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate at all levels.
