A full-time programming job at Somethin' Else in London

Working across 3 of our BBC music shows (1xtra and Asian Network), working Tuesday – Saturday, split between Somethin’ Else and BBC premises.

Responsibilities include: general support to your show Producer arranging and overseeing guests music reporting undertaking general research for programmes editing audio packages supporting the wider production team, including Presenters contributing show and feature ideas

You will need a demonstrable knowledge of the specific shows we make as well as a good knowledge of the music genres of the shows and networks we work with.

The ability to build a broad range of music output is essential, along with an innovative and imaginative approach to programme ideas.

Evidence of a further passion for / involvement in new and/or specialist music would be an advantage.
