Wessex FM in Dorset is part of the UKRD group, we do local, and we're proud of it. We've got an exciting opportunity for an experienced presenter to take over our Breakfast Show, and become a leading light in the local community.

Fancy it? You'll need to be fun, engaging and relevant on air. You'll need to be confident to head out of the office and meet and talk to local people every day. You'll need to be a team player (in all aspects of the business). You'll need to love creating and producing local content for all our platforms. And you'll need to be flexible enough to make sure you're seen and heard at key local events.

In terms of reach, we are one of the most listened to commercial stations in England, and we're right on the Jurassic Coast, with those stunning cliffs you've seen on Broadchurch, and Weymouth's famous golden sands. We get 364 more hours of sunshine every year than the national average. We've got thriving local music, arts, and food festivals.
