Kingdom FM is looking for freelance Broadcast Journalists.
Great local radio is at the core of everything we do and that includes local and engaging news and sport coverage.
This is the ideal role if you’re newly qualified and ready to experience commercial radio first hand, but it’s equally suited to those with more experience.
You'll have a good reading style and excellent voice and will be just as at ease presenting either pre-recorded or live bulletins.
You’ll have a great news instinct, sharp writing skills, sound legal and regulatory knowledge and the ability to get unique, local news and sport on air
Knowledge of Burli is desirable, a full driving licence is essential.
Based at our studios in Kirkcaldy, the successful candidate will be an integral part of our News Team. You'll present hourly bulletins, interview contributors, write scripts, edit audio and forward plan during reporting and news-reading shifts.
During the week. there are reporting shifts and two on-air shifts (morning and afternoon). At the weekend, there is one on-air shift on both Saturday and Sunday.
