We are looking for an experienced broadcast journalist/reporter to join our expanding team at our brand new state of the art Edinburgh studios.

Our network is expanding on DAB radio and this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a large radio company.

The successful candidate will write sharp and accurate world news stories which will appeal to our listeners both on air and online.

You’ll report from the field on a regular basis and will chase breaking news stories and attend press conferences.

You will be a first class communicator with the ability to build contacts to bring in exclusive and original news stories.

You will have at least two years’ experience working as a broadcast journalist. We need someone who can work to tight deadlines while running a news desk and knows how to react to breaking news. The successful candidate will have the ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Sharp writing skills, sound legal and regulatory knowledge and the ability to get unique, world news on air are essential. A great voice is also vital, while you must possess strong social media skills. A competitive salary is on offer.
