Content Manager

We are looking for an ambitious and passionate Content Manager to join our UK team. You will be responsible for establishing relations with potential content partners to help us expand our content catalogue. You’ll also manage relationships with our existing publishers and podcasters, and work with colleagues in our global offices to help grow new audiences. You’ll also spot potential for new formats, podcast hosts and work with brands to develop new storytelling approaches through audio.

As well as a strong knowledge of spoken word and audio, you’ll be able to demonstrate a sensitivity to commercial opportunities and brands, as well as an appreciation of the rapidly evolving podcast landscape.

Ideally, you have a creative mind, highly organised and analytical. You will be based in our Old Street office.

Key Responsibilities Specifically, the successful candidate will…

Recruit, negotiate and implement contractual relationships with content providers (media networks, broadcasters, podcasters & brands) Establish and manage high level relationships with current and future content partners Provide support and creative direction to new creators Guide and assist content partners with integration into our systems Characteristics In an ideal candidate we envision the following competences and personal characteristics:

Proficient knowledge and understanding of the UK podcast market and audio industry Excellent pitching, presentation and problem solving skills Ability to negotiate agreements Exceptional verbal and written interpersonal, relationship management and communication skills, Team player that is collaborative, creative and highly motivated Fluent in both written and spoken English Some experience in audio production, journalism, digital media or branded content is a plus. Degree Educated (preferred)
