Creative Writer

A full-time creative job at UTV Media (GB) in Chesterfield, United Kingdom
Posted 2 October 2015, 6.48am edt

Creative Writer – Peak FM, Chesterfield It’s time to press “Go” on the Creativity Blender! UTV Media (GB) is one of the largest radio groups in the UK, with market leading local stations in England and Wales. We also own the national station talkSPORT and UK's leading sports magazine, Sport, as well as being a leading operator of DAB digital radio multiplexes throughout Great Britain. Impressive! And now we are looking for a radio advertising copywriter just as impressive as we are to join our Radio Advertising Team at Peak FM in Chesterfield. This is an amazing opportunity for a creative writer. In fact, there are not many other opportunities as amazing as this. (OK, maybe the opportunity to travel back in time would be amazing, but with all that “butterfly effect” nonsense it’s very stressful, I can tell you!). So what’s involved? Well, your job will be to use words, music, voices and sound to create unforgettable advertising messages for our local and national advertisers. We want you to grab our listener’s imaginations with both hands, then carefully place those imaginations into a creativity blender on level 7, to produce mind-bending, product selling advertising for our clients. You will get to work alongside one of UTV’s most successful sales teams and collaborate with our award winning team of producers. The successful candidate will have extensive proven experience in radio copywriting, however training will be provided. You will also need to help keep the office biscuit barrel well stocked. Top brands only, none of the plain, discount variety, please.

This job closed on 12 October, 2015 so we’re afraid you can no longer apply for this role.
