Job Description: Credit Controller
Reporting To: Team Leader Location: Reading
Overall Purpose:
- To ensure prompt collection of outstanding monies to achieve maximum cash flow and minimal profit erosion via bad debt.
- Build a strong professional relationship with the sales teams and our customers.
- Be pro-active in anticipating queries and resolving issues at the earliest opportunity to minimize omissions from remittance, recommending process or system improvements that could be implemented to reduce queries going forward.
What you’ll be doing…
- Setting up new accounts, credit checks and administration of accounts.
- Liaising with both the Commercial team and the customer to resolve disputes.
- Seeking solutions to challenges presented by any unusual sales or circumstances.
- Have responsibility for a set of accounts, including chasing, query resolution, cash posting, journal posting, manual invoicing, credit notes and credit management.

You’ll have experience in…
- Good communication
- Organising and prioritising workloads
- Either experience within a credit control role or a good knowledge of the systems and processes within Global that will assist with query resolution of process or system improvement.
