We’re looking for a weekday Drive presenter (Monday to Friday, 3pm-6pm) to start ASAP. Ideally we would like a candidate with good knowledge of our local area. Experience of radio broadcasting is not essential – enthusiasm is definitely a must!
The station regularly features local guests for interview and you would be responsible for booking these for your show and also creating regular posts to the station’s extraordinarily successful website which currently receives over 6,000 unique visits per day.
Phoenix FM is based in Brentwood and broadcasts on 98FM to around 140,000 people in and around south west Essex. You will be joining a regular team of 35 presenters (including former world snooker champion Steve Davis and ‘Allo ‘Allo! star Vicki Michelle).
PLEASE READ THIS PART! We’re a not-for-profit community radio station and while this is a volunteer role, we do make a daily payment of £20 per show payable to the successful candidate to cover your expenses.
If you think you have what it takes to fit our daytime schedule then drop us a line.
