Original 106 is looking to expand our on-air team broadcasting to our growing audience across Aberdeen and the north east of Scotland!

If you are excited about the prospect of being a major part of the fabric of life in the local area, then this is a unique opportunity.

Original 106 is the north east’s local radio station broadcasting locally generated shows 24/7 that has recently delivered its best ever RAJAR results. We’re looking to bring on board an experienced, talented, inventive radio presenter to join us to present the Original 106 weekday drivetime show.

The successful applicant will be a fantastic communicator, who knows, lives and breathes the music Original 106 plays, will be able to generate good quality, relevant show content and manage the delivery of travel updates.

You’ll be working in an exciting, brand-new, purpose-build studio complex in the heart of Aberdeen city. You will be a team player, full of ideas and happy to share them, as well as contributing to others.

Experience using RCS G Selector and Zetta would be an advantage. The ability and enthusiasm to get involved with all aspects of the programming department including outside broadcasts is a must. You should also be familiar with the use of Adobe Audition editing software.
