Our aim is to deliver ideas, relationships and results better than anyone else in the industry.  We are launching a new Voice and Audio division to provide new audio experiences and opportunities for our listeners and clients. 

Your mission

Your mission is to create outstanding audio which excites and engages all of our audiences. You will play a key role in our emerging voice and audio business, focusing on content concept development, research and production.

In return for this, we will provide you with your platform to perform, your canvas to create and the right autonomy to do what you do best.  This includes:

The development and production of podcasts, flash briefings and bespoke audio content for our audiences and clients. You’ll use audience insight and statistics to make informed decisions on content and areas of opportunity. Identify and manage appropriate presenting and production talent, and coordinate with agents and PR agencies. Build a strong relationship with our production partner and manage client relations to deliver outstanding results. Edit, build and check audio content, and upload to distribution platforms, ensuring all associated data is correct and accurate. Manage and monitor audience and marketing trends and indicators to ensure the best possible results for us and our clients. Explore, develop and extend online radio, audio branding and commercial partner opportunities. Remotely source, schedule and organise cost-effective location recording solutions.   Your Experience

You will need to be smart, bold and engaging and be able to display our company values in the work you do; Bravery, Integrity and Passion. You should be as passionate about working in audio as we are and have extensive experience in idea development and audio production.

Strong production skills with the ability to direct talent Proven experience in the development of ideas Advanced ability to edit using Adobe Audition (or similar) is essential Writing for radio/audio experience A creative thinker with an excellent understanding of ever changing audio consumption landscape Extremely organised, managing several complex projects running concurrently Experience in pitching ideas and concepts to clients and decision makers You’ll be someone who always thinks audio first! A minimum of 3 years working in a creative production role   Your Package

You will report to the Group Head of Programming and News and be based at out Head Office in Spinningfields, Manchester.
