We’re famous around the world for, amongst others, devising and launching the quiz show ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?’ and producing the film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’. We also own and operate 25 local and regional radio stations across the south of England. We are dedicated to championing the individual creativity inherent in our stations and talent because we believe this is the only way to deliver high quality local content at a national level.

What the job entails:

You will be responsible for producing outstanding, brand specific news bulletins for Celador’s radio stations across the country. An all-rounder you will also generate ideas for compelling local stories on air and on our digital platforms. We also need you to be able to identify potential interviewees, brief them, prepare interview questions and conduct the actual interview. You will write scripts and make sure content on our websites is updated and we are using social media effectively and within the law

This will cover a range of shifts including breakfast and weekends.

What are we looking for?

Well, you must be an outstanding journalist with previous experience of radio and digital content creation.

You must be self-motivated, have fantastic attention to detail and be able to work on your own, under pressure and to deadlines. You should be determined, diplomatic and have brilliant interpersonal skills.
