Rhubarb Radio is the community based online radio station broadcasting across the Wakefield District and South Leeds since October 2017, which are at the heart of the rhubarb triangle, famous for the largest forced rhubarb production in Europe.

The station has had huge success building a large loyal audience with a wide range of local companies and organisations supporting the station with advertising, sponsorship and promotions.

Rhubarb Radio offers the most appetizing news, information, sport, and features with the biggest hits 24 hours a day. We are at the very heart of the community supporting everything from charity events to local sports coverage, and whilst we have launched as an online station, we have ambitions to grow the Rhubarb brand on the new small scale DAB transmitters once they are launched with new “Rhubarb” branded stations to complement Rhubarb Radio.

We are now growing our roots as we have moved into our new studio centre with 3 state of the art studios, and superb facilities for our fantastic team. We are now looking to add to the bunch with talented and enthusiastic freelance part time sales executives. We are looking for target driven people who are passionate about promoting the Rhubarb brand across the West Yorkshire area selling advertising, sponsorship and promotions. If you are confident, personable, and believe you could sell ice to the Eskimos, lets talk! Working part time to suit your requirements, we are offering competitive remuneration rates, and very scrumptious commission on all orders sold, supported by a Management team with many years sales and marketing experience in the radio industry.
