Head of Sales Pulse 1 & 2

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Head of Sales to join our talented & dynamic team at Pulse 1 & 2 radio.

Operated by the Wireless Group which is wholly owned by News Corp UK and Ireland Limited we are a leading UK and Irish media company. The group operates 23 leading radio brands across the UK and Ireland. These include market leading stations embedded in their local communities as well as popular national brands such as talkSPORT, the world's biggest sports radio station, talkRADIO and Virgin Radio.

Reporting to the Acting Station Manager, the successful candidate will have previous sales experience and have the ability to motivate, coach and manage our highly successful sales team. Alongside managing a selection of key clients, you will be responsible for driving local revenue performance through our team of Account Managers. You will take the lead on client negotiations, pioneer sales initiatives, whilst developing your team’s individual performance.

To be considered for this role, candidates will have a proven track record in sales management within a media environment, a creative nature and a determination to achieve and exceed monthly & quarterly sales targets.
