Home to some of the UK's best-loved radio stations such as Heart, Capital & Classic FM, to name a few, we keep 25.1 million listeners tuned in and entertained each week. And that's just for starters; we’re also one of the biggest live festival companies in the UK, selling more than a million tickets a year, manage some of the best musical talent around, publish some of the biggest tracks in the charts, and run two of the freshest music TV channels there are. Simply put, we're obsessed with radio, music and entertainment - welcome to our world.

The Desktop and Mobility team are responsible for macOS and Windows deployment and management, mobile device management, and Identity Management (including Active Directory and Azure AD).  Current priorities for the team include piloting Windows 10 in studios, deploying SCCM and driving adoption of Office 365 for our Mac users.

We’re looking for someone to join us who:

  • is comfortable working independently or in a team to drive projects forward

  • has a passion for new technology and can see how it meets the needs of the business

  • continually grows their knowledge of our business and the technologies which underpin it

  • understands the implications of, and takes responsibility for, their work

  • has a logical and creative approach to problem solving

  • is a skilled communicator and influencer, at ease dealing with others within and outside of the technology team

  • reliably works to required standards and values

  • is happy juggling multiple projects and responsibilities

You will bring experience of:

  • supporting end users and technical staff, highly available systems

  • deploying and maintaining Microsoft or Apple operating systems and applications

  • mobile device management

  • systems management using scripting or programming

  • open source or proprietary management tools

And of course you’ll demonstrate our Global behaviours...

  • Straight talking and sincere

  • Love to Deliver

  • Obsessive about detail

  • Strive to do it differently

The job is based in Manchester, with some travel involved to other Global UK sites. If you prove you've got what it takes and share our obsessions, we'll make sure you're well rewarded with a competitive salary, 25 days holiday and a range of flexible benefits (including cycle to work scheme, holiday trading, pension, and some great discount deals). You'll also get kitted out with Apple technology including a MacBook when you start, as well as receiving outstanding training on the job.

Don't just like your job, love it!

This job closed on 19 September, 2017 so we’re afraid you can no longer apply for this role.
