Seymour International is the largest exporter of magazines from the UK and represents some of the UK’s premiere publishers and brands.  Export is an area of circulation which is growing rapidly, and publishers are increasingly looking to the international arena to support circulation growth. A vacancy has arisen for a Management Accountant based in our London office. Your main purpose will be to provide accurate and timely information to senior management on the financial performance of the business whilst helping to assist in minimising financial risk. Key Responsibilities of the Role:  Preparation of full P&L month end results Provide detailed variance analysis on revenues for inclusion in management accounts pack Responsible for the accurate and timely completion and distribution of the monthly management accounts pack Prepare revenue and carriage figures for inclusion in quarterly forecasts and annual budget Responsible for preparation of forecast/budget presentations given to directors and shareholders prior to submission to parent company Responsible for completion of balance sheet reconciliations and quarterly financial statements submitted to Bauer for consolidation purposes Support and cover for operations team on contract and magazine overseas pricing Management of the year-end audit process and the production of statutory accounts Publisher profitability analysis Ad hoc analysis work Key Qualities/Experience in the successful candidates:  Currently studying towards an accountancy qualification Good systems and Excel spreadsheet skills Good time management and ability to work to deadlines Strong analytical skills Team player with strong interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills
