Morning Show - Co Host

A full-time programming job at 104.2 Nile FM in Cairo, Egypt
Posted 30 September 2019, 9.24am edt

104.2 Nile FM has been the leader of English music in Egypt since 2003. We have live shows presented by a mix of Egyptian and British presenters that cater musically to expats and locals alike. Playing a mix of music from current chart hits as far back to the 90's (sometimes further)

We have a rare opportunity to join the team on our flagship "Morning Show" as our current female Co-host will step down at the end of 2019 after 7 years.

It's a big job for a massive audience. You will need to have you A game every single time, be able to bounce off your co-host, and add to the conversation while also understanding where you are with respect to being Culturally sensitive but always thinking of how to create great engaging radio.

You will already have proven experience on the radio, preferably on a double headed show although this is not necessary.

For the show you will need to come up with funny, crazy and "must listen to" radio both on air and during the prep planning sessions after each show for the next. Experience in RCS Zetta would be an advantage.

In return we will send you a car and a driver to pick you up daily and drop you home once you have finished work, medical insurance and a flight home to the UK just to remind you why you left. Egypt is a warm country with some of the most beautiful coast lines in the world, and one of them is only an hour and a half away from Cairo.

This job closed on 20 October, 2019 so we’re afraid you can no longer apply for this role.
