Can you play a major role in driving Spirit FM to even greater success?

We are now looking for a News Editor to run our busy news room based in West Sussex.

With over regular 100,000 listeners (putting us ahead of Radio 4), our listeners expect a reliable, fast and accurate local news service both on air and online. No hubbing and rip and read stuff here, locally sourced and relevant news stories from our patch.

Spirit FM covers a busy area across West Sussex stretching along the coast and up to the South Downs, all requiring equal coverage from the number one commercial station in the county.

You will be reading live bulletins on the Breakfast show, finding big stories, making contacts with the key movers and shakers in the patch, developing the department and developing and creating its online content.

As a key manager within the business you will also sit on Spirit FM’s ‘Heads of Departments’ team and play a major role in driving the business forward.
