Are you ready to be part of a tasty new radio network?
Rhubarb Radio Network are launching 4 delicious internet radio stations with the first, Rhubarb Radio hitting the airwaves from Sunday 1st October broadcasting from our state of the art studios in Wakefield City Centre in West Yorkshire.
The station will be targeting the Wakefield district and South Leeds, which are at the heart of the rhubarb triangle, famous for the largest forced rhubarb production in Europe.
Rhubarb Radio will offer the most appetising news, information, sport, and features with the biggest hits 24 hours a day. We are going to be at the very heart of the community supporting everything from charity events to local sports coverage, and whilst we are launching as an internet station, we have ambitions to grow the Rhubarb brand on the new small scale DAB transmitters once they are launched.
We are now growing our roots with a fantastic volunteer team and are now looking to add to the bunch with talented and enthusiastic presenters, and promotion staff. If you have previous radio experience that would be ideal, but if you feel you have what it takes to be a great presenter then we want to hear from you!
Our promotions staff are out and about promoting the station at all kind of events, so if you are up for meeting people, have a bubbly enthusiastic personality, lets talk!!
….so if it’s time to spread your roots, come and join the Rhubarb Radio revolution….
Please note, these roles are unpaid
