You will be trained/experienced to industry standard, and competent at desk-driving and researching, preparing and presenting a one or two-hour programme live on WFM (www.wfmradio.org). You may have an idea for a programme yourself, or we have Breakfast, Lunch or Drive show vacancies.
Induction includes shadowing a current presenter to get the feel of the station and to learn to operate the equipment. We are currently moving into a new studio with the Forum in Wythenshawe Town Centre. We have over 12 years' broadcasting since achieving our full-time licence from OfCOM.
