We are looking for an experienced radio producer to join our team producing specialist BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra music shows.

In order to apply you will have the following: Network level production experience. Experience in managing complex talent relationships. Social Media management experience. Strong audio editing skills. Strong video editing skills. A good knowledge of BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra's output and audiences. An in-depth understanding and passion for Radio 1 and 1Xtra’s core music genres

Responsibilities of the role: Delivery of audio and video productions including interviews, perforances & imaging. Ensuring all output adheres to BBC compliance. Sourcing and booking relevant guests for the show. Leading the shows creatively, both on air and online. Working with your presenters to ensure they are at the top of their game. Working as part of a wider music radio team. Managing the junior member of the show team.
