A full-time management job at Gaydio in Brighton

2018 has been another big year for Gaydio - we’ve launched new Breakfast and Drive shows; toured UK Pride festivals; sent competition winners to some amazing destinations; presented shows from some of them; developed our social outreach activity through Gaydio Academy and loads more.

Most recently, we started transmitting a new FM service for Brighton on 97.8FM. It shares some output with our existing services for Manchester, London and other UK cities but also originates its own programming from our new base on North Street.

As we go into 2019, we are looking for somebody to expand upon the delivery of our original and local hours and develop our community outreach activity.

Role and responsibilities:

Show presentation Volunteer management and training Outreach activity delivery Programme production Support delivery of local sales activity
Profile raising of Gaydio Brighton

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the LGBT+ community, with the ability to build relationships and connections with the wider community in Brighton & Hove. You will have a passion for radio with previous management experience, ideally with some technical skills.
