Advertising Field Sales Executive required for leading Radio Station covering Dundee, Tayside, Angus, Perth and North East Fife.

Their radio division is one of the UK’s largest national analogue and digital networks. Their portfolio includes many of the UK’s biggest radio brands.
The Role They currently require a Radio Advertising Field Sales Executive to sell airtime advertising sponsorship and online advertising opportunities to new and existing SME and corporate customers in Dundee, Tayside, Angus, North East Fife and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for sourcing leads, warm and cold calling to obtain face to face sales meetings with potential customers. This is a structured sale where you will identify the business needs then create, design and present innovative advertising solutions tailored to the client to ensure results. You will be working with a great back up team, you’ll be putting together creative pitches using the latest technology that will make you stand out to your clients. Once on board you will manage, nurture and provide great customer service that will keep clients happy, making them want to grow their business with you. You will have the support and back up of strong case studies, presentation tools, technology, metrics and marketing information to ensure sales success.
The Candidate Ideally you will have some experience of selling advertising space from any media sector (i.e magazines, directories, online, exhibition, newspapers, etc).
Alternatively you will have strong experience and successful track record of selling any business to business product in a tele or field based environment looking to pursue a career in Media sales.
Products such as office furniture, office supplies, franking machines, IT equipment, IT products, training, telecoms, financial products, digital print services or a background in recruitment consultancy.
You will be able to put across a strong sales argument with excellent presentation skills, drive and enthusiasm and the ability to come up with creative ideas that are commercially viable. You will have a strong understanding of the media and marketing departments, coupled with drive, motivation and passion to develop new business in a competitive market. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate at all levels.
