Responsible to: Sales Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within our local radio station. Working along side our existing and high billing sales and promotion executives you will have flare and a passion for radio and media.

Your Primary Duties will include:

Ensure you hit your individual monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets. Assist in ensuring the station hits team monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets. Continuously drive the station’s revenue forward. Ensure creative is sold at the correct rate and that all the necessary paperwork has been completed, including the creative order book. Ensure that all creative is undertaken at one of the three Creative Houses contracted by the station. Ensure that all sponsorships and promotions are sold within the station’s guidelines, including the essential margins. Ensure the stations rate card is adhered to Monitor your individual average 30 second yield and work to steadily increase this with existing clients. Attend weekly sales meetings. Ensure you complete and submit weekly call sheets. Lead the less experienced members of the sales team through coaching, encouragement, motivation, guidance and example and maintain personal professionalism at all times. Ensure you provide a first class service to your clients. You must read, understand and ensure you adhere to Ofcom’s Advertising & Sponsorship Code and the RACC Guidelines at all times Secondary Duties

Attend station events that you organise for your own clients, which may be outside of normal working hours. Ensure that your client events are organised correctly and efficiently. Represent the station at networking events when required. Represent the station at special events such as business / award ceremonies when required. Ensure a full hand over note, covering your duties, is provided to the Satation Manager before you take a holiday. Assist in producing entries for sales awards which the station may enter. Read up on the RAB and CRCA websites and recommend relevant training courses for you where relevant. Ensure you properly look after and treat your Company car responsibly and that it is kept clean (inside and out) at all times. The benefits package includes:
