UKRD – one of the UK's most progressive and exciting entertainment based media companies – is looking for a creative and enthusiastic radio presenter, producer and coordinator to join the Encore Radio team.

No day will ever be the same! This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic radio production specialist looking to take the next step in their career and work with our national digital radio station Encore Radio.

Your new role will see you responsible for the presentation, production and coordination of a range of broadcast and digital content across multiple platforms in order to entertain, attract and retain listeners for our brand as well as fulfill our client objectives.

We are looking for someone who has radio production and organisational skills in their DNA. You’ll be able to demonstrate that you’re resourceful, innovative, flexible and reliable, you’ll have bags of personality and enthusiasm on and off air and be excited at the prospect of working alongside a small team producing and coordinating content for a fast growing multimedia brand.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years’ experience Presenting and Producing radio and audio content

• The ability to manage and develop talent

• Exceptional organisational skills

• An excellent working knowledge of RCS Zetta and GSelector

• You'll need to be a team player (in all aspects of the business)

• Experience in using industry standard audio software. Video editing experience would also be an advantage.

• Have a passion for engaging audiences through social media and experience of managing communities

• Strong creative thinking and interpersonal/communication skills

• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and can flourish even under tremendous pressure

• A high level of confidence and the ability to work independently and proactively

• Understanding of web based tools and experience working with content management systems would be an advantage

Responsibilities:

• Assist the management team in coordinating Encore Radio’s output and strategy across all platforms

• Presenting a range of programmes across the Encore Radio schedule

• Producing shows and audio content to a high broadcast standard

• Station music scheduling and Zetta management

• Help to promote content across social networks, including Facebook and Twitter

• Manage ongoing partnerships with in-house and external content providers and talent

• Produce content that meets the aims and objectives of Encore Radio and its clients

• Ensure all content produced matches the tone and style of Encore Radio

• Work with external content producers to create engaging and relevant broadcast content for Encore Radio clients and help to promote across social media

• Organise and plan Encore Radio audience/marketing events
