A full-time creative job at United Christian Broadcasters in Stoke-on-Trent, UK

Have you been considering a full-time role in Christian radio?
UCB is continuing to strengthen its line-up of radio presenters and is looking for the right person to join the amazing team behind the microphone who encourage, entertain and edify listeners across the United Kingdom on national DAB and online around the world.
This is an opportunity to present regular programmes on UCB 2.
You will need to be an experienced radio presenter who understands how to skilfully chat to your listener, in an authentic, friendly style that leaves ample room to talk about everyday life as a Christian.
You will have a working knowledge of Christian music (particularly praise and worship music) and an understanding of current events and popular culture.
It’s expected that you will be active in a local church and understand the importance of the Bible and prayer to you, personally.
We are looking for someone who wants to be committed to the purpose and values of UCB and who’s willing and able to play their part in national Christian radio.
Ideally this role would begin in September/October, joining the great team at the Broadcast Centre just outside Stoke-on-Trent. You would need your own transport and could be asked to work different shifts over time.
As well as your most up-to-date CV we will need to hear what you sound like before we decide on a shortlist to be interviewed. So ensure you send some recordings that demonstrate your radio presenting skills. This can be via a link to your showreel or audio files.
If you would like to know more about this role before you apply, you are welcome to contact the Head of Radio, David Taviner: firstname.lastname@example.org
If you believe this is for you, please read through the Job Description, carefully complete the Application Form and then get it to us, with your audio showreel, before the closing date.
We really look forward to hearing from you.
Salary: £20,000 - £21,000 based on skill and experience (and includes a selection of staff benefits)
Closing Date: Sunday 18th August 2019 (midnight) Interviews: Please note these will take place on the morning of Monday 2nd September 2019
