Westway Radio is the newest Local Radio Station in the Arbroath and Tayside Area, Launching soon we will be broadcasating online via the Station Website,ios and Android Apps, smart phones and smart speakers, and possibly DAB

We are looking for a Radio Sales Executive to sell Advertising and Sponsorship packages to local businesses in Arbroath and Tayside area.

Day to day you will be Identifying and developing new prospects to add to your list prospecting and self-generating new business appointments, Establish prospective clients needs to gain opportunities. Working with our managenment team to generate ideas that fulfil client needs from a wide portfolio of products including, commercial production, airtime planning, sponsorships, events and digital. Presenting opportunities and closing business.

For the right person, this job represents an exciting opportunity to join a this new Local Radio Station and be a key player in steering its future and to take on more responsibilities to help the business grow.

Ideally you will have a proven track record in sales and investigative skills with a knowledge of Media Sales methodology and principals. You will be proactive, ambitious and driven with a background of achieving targets, A strong communicator and negotiator with good interpersonal skills and the ability to influence sales outcomes Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task, Strong customer service skills is a must.

You must have a full clean driving licence, access to a car, a laptop and mobile phone will be provided along with a generous fuel allowance.

Salary dependant on Experience.
