This role is responsible for all functions relating to ad traffic management and for delivering the ad traffic logs, integrating into the programme logs, to an agreed daily deadline.

Key Tasks:

  • Schedule radio advertising as per campaign plans
  • Deliver all station ad traffic logs to Programming according to agreed timetable
  • Develop and maintain appropriate controls, procedures and systems
  • Monitor advertising capacity, produce regular inventory reports for the sales team
  • Produce monthly invoice and sundry invoice runs across all platforms and titles
  • Manage the Sales debtor list facilitating best credit control practice
  • Investigate invoice queries and liaise with Finance as required.
  • Maintain VAT & charity status paperwork
  • Maintain cart lists
  • Liaise with Commercial Production to maintain copy ‘tracker’ and ensure that adverts are produced to deadline.
  • Produce transmission reports and post campaign analysis as required Daily Programme Log Integration
  • Ensure all programmes are inserted into the log.
  • Ensure the key junctions are correctly timed, and all scheduled programmes begin on time.
  • Check the programme starts to ensure they correlate with the programme folder to make sure the correct programmes have been dispatched for broadcast.
  • Download and correctly schedule Newslink and Trafficlink ads.
  • Ensure Newslink and Trafficlink transmission certificates are completed and returned promptly, on a weekly basis.
  • Provide joint first cover in the instance of holiday and sickness of main log delivery person
