SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANT - DIGITAL
PRO A full-time digital job at BFBS in Central London
Posted 19 November 2019, 5.25am est
Over the last few years we spotted a gap in the market – for solid communications advice and support for the armed forces and government. We work on a whole range of exciting clients ranging from the Royal Air Force, Ministry of Defence and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office to Defence charities and commercial companies too.
We’re growing incredibly fast (but with secure foundations).
We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our rapidly expanding portfolio of work. We want someone who can use their creative skills to lead on producing content, advise our clients on strategic direction, social media account management, and deliver training. You should have particular knowledge of the digital world and social media trends.
If you value flexibility, freedom, opportunity, and ambition, this could be the environment for you. We can offer you work with purpose that makes a genuine difference.
We are a small team and need someone with strong initiative and an entrepreneurial spirit. You will be given the opportunity to lead on strategically important clients and to help manage the team with their day-to-day work. Strong project management skills and previous experience with clients are important. Our ambition is to grow the team further and we would like this person to be an essential part of the exciting business we are building.
You will be based out of our London Victoria office and report into our Head of Consultancy. You will be required to occasionally travel to our main office in Gerrards Cross as well as to clients. This is a full-time role but we are open to discussions around working patterns.
About BFBS BFBS is a military charity and media organisation with a mission to inform, entertain, connect and champion the UK serving military, their families and veterans. We have been keeping the serving military connected and in touch for over 75 years, building morale and offering those serving overseas a valuable connection to life back home. We help them feel happier, know what’s going on around the world, share experiences and build communities.
Today, our TV, radio and digital platforms offer entertainment, news, sport and information services to the Armed Forces, their families, veterans and anyone interested in the military.
In recent years, building on our in-depth knowledge of the military and our digital, media and technological innovation expertise, we have also developed value-for-money commercial services for the military and other government clients. These include digital and creative services, a training and development academy, and pioneering technical media and communication solutions that work even in the most extreme environments.
Why work for us?
BFBS is an exciting and rewarding place to work. We are committed to looking after our people, helping them to develop their skills and build successful careers.
So, whether your background is military, media, digital, broadcast – or perhaps something else – if you want to work with talented and passionate colleagues to help us in our mission to entertain, inform, connect and champion the UK Armed Forces, please take a look at our current vacancies.
Closing date: Wednesday 4th December 2019.
Interviews will be held as and when a candidate fits the criteria, we will not wait for the close date. We reserve the right to close the position earlier if we appoint.
We thank you for your interest and application. We can’t guarantee being able to respond to all applicants, therefore, if we do not contact you within 10 working days of the closing date, you have been unsuccessful. Please look out for other opportunities on our website www.ssvc.com/jobs
