We’re looking for a Sponsorship, Promotions & Interactive Co-ordinator to work in our Southampton office, across all three of our brands; Sam FM, The Breeze and Fire Radio. You’ll be supporting the SPI Manager, working with the Programme Directors to deliver effective radio campaigns for our clients, and creating revenue generating opportunities for the Sales team.

Radio or promotions experience is preferred but not necessary.

Key skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint
  • Knowledge/Understanding of radio planning systems (i.e. PlanIt) would be an advantage

Key Responsibilities

  • Attending and sometimes heading up weekly Sponsorship & Promotions meetings with the programming team to come up with creative solutions to client briefs.
  • Ensuring the creative ideas are combined with an effective campaign plan.
  • Putting together proposals for clients and the sales team
  • Working with the digital team and managing online competitions, including selecting winners and organising prize delivery.
  • Keeping all sponsorship & promotions documents up to date, and ensuring the sales team are informed about what is available for them to sell
  • Meeting clients with sales executives to present creative ideas
  • Implementing campaigns effectively, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
