Station Imaging Co-ordinator/Radio Playout Scheduler

A part-time office job at United Christian Broadcasters in Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom
Posted 13 November 2017, 7.45am est

UCB’s two national radio stations provide a distinctive choice for listeners. UCB 1 plays today’s Christian hits and features conversation about current affairs that reaches out to anyone trying to make sense of the world around us. UCB 2 features praise and worship music and much more – with Bible-based teaching and encouragement for every Christian.

UCB is looking to appoint someone with a passion for constantly monitoring and improving the sound and quality of each station, especially the imaging, spots and promos.

You will have an understanding of how music format radio works and have a creative drive that wants UCB radio to be the best it can be.

You will have the opportunity to develop ideas that will keep the stations sounding fresh and engaging.

Another key part of the role is to ensure that radio programmes are correctly scheduled in advance, working to the Radio Scheduling & Project Co-ordinator.

This will require an attention-to-detail and quality-control approach, using the Playout software. The role is part-time, on weekdays (with details to be agreed).

Take a careful look at the Job Description at www.ucb.co.uk and, if you believe this is for you, send us your application.

This position is based at the Broadcast Centre in Hanchurch near Stoke-on-Trent, just off Junction 15 of the M6. (As there is no public transport so you would need your own transport.)
